  1. Lots of people think I spend all my time buying and fluffing up cushions. It’s not ALL I do, but it is a part of the job. Cushions can sometimes finish off a space that you feel is just lacking. Why not add a bit of boldness with this bright berry cushion from EZ Living Interiors - currently on sale.

  2. A recent client was adamant about having a freestanding mirror over the sink in her new kitchen, which is pretty unusual in an Irish kitchen. Mirror splashbacks are a bit of a thing, but not normally a hanging mirror. We used the dark wood mirror from Wayfair, and safe to say it looks super. Official pics of the kitchen in question to follow very soon…

  3. When in doubt, add a rug! I love the variations of red and orange in this Louis De Poortere beauty from Rugs.ie. It would look lovely in a hallway, living room or bedroom that has a warm, autumnal colour scheme. And remember, the bigger the better. In a living room for example, make sure the rug is under the front legs (at least) of all the chairs in the main seating area, where possible.

  4. Lots of homes have an abundance of cushions that end up being dumped. Why not just buy a cushion cover and re-use the cushion filling instead? This floral cover from Desenio (normally know for its art pieces) has a lovely calming watercolour print, perfect for a bedroom.

  5. One of my favourite contemporary Irish artists is Ciara O’Neill. One of my favourite sweatshirts that I wear regularly is a Ciara O’Neill sweatshirt. So if you’re a fan of art on sweatshirts, this is the one for you. Available in grey, pink and black. Gorge.
